Professional Beauty Therapy Licence
The licence to practise beauty therapy independently and open a beauty centre. Direct entry for those with the two-year qualification or three years of documented work experience.
280 hours of advanced online learning (theory, case studies, virtual workshop) + technical-practical final exam in person before the Commissione regionale at our Liguria venues.
Recognition: Professional Beauty Therapy Licence — issued by Schola Mastro, accredited body with Regione Liguria for Professional Training (Craft Sector), under Law 1/1990, implementing regional regulations and Legislative Decree 13/2013. Valid for registration in the Albo Imprese Artigiane throughout Italy and for practising in EU member states under Directive 2005/36/EC.
Prerequisites
Formal requirements to enrol in this programme.
Meeting any one of these is sufficient.
- Two-year Beauty Therapy Qualification + 1 year of employment in a beauty business
- 3 years of qualified work in a beauty business within the past 5 years
- IeFP qualification «Wellness Operator — Beauty» + placement period
- 18 years or older
- Italian tax code (codice fiscale)

- Beauty centre marketing, financial management and taxation
- Professional ethics, owner liability and client protection
- Preparation for the technical-practical final exam
