Transparency and legal validity
Regional Accreditation
What it means for those who earn a qualification with Schola Mastro.
What regional accreditation means
In Italy, vocational training is a matter shared between the State and the Regions. Qualifications for regulated professions โ hairdresser, beauty therapist โ can only be issued by training bodies accredited by the competent Region.
Accreditation is a formal recognition: the Region verifies that the body has adequate organisational structure, qualified instructors, compliant assessment procedures and certified quality systems. Only certificates issued by accredited bodies carry legal effect โ they allow you to open a business independently, meet statutory requirements, and be recognised by the Chamber of Commerce.

What it means for you
Completing a programme with Schola Mastro produces concrete and verifiable effects.
The certificate is legally valid โ it can be presented to the Chamber of Commerce for registration in the Artisan Business Register, to local councils for the SCIA notice and commercial licences, and to health authorities for hygiene requirements.
It is recognised by employers โ companies in the sector distinguish an accredited certificate from a certificate of participation. Regional accreditation is the difference between a usable qualification and a piece of paper.
Valid throughout Italy and the European Union โ under Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications, the certificate is automatically valid in EU member states.
Verifiable online โ every certificate we issue receives a unique code. Anyone โ a future employer, a public body, a bank โ can verify its authenticity by entering the code below, without needing to contact us.
